<<Bush has become a national disappointment.>>

Has??

<He needs the Catholic vote so is against any stem cell research that could help citizens with deadly diseases>

I think it's unfair to single out Catholics on this issue. The religious right as a whole is who he's catering to. The right consists more of than just Catholics (actually I believe they are a majority in it.) I forget what religion Falwell et al are but they are all a bunch of friggin nuts.

Fred, have you BEEN SLEEPING for the last 8 years?

we just got RID OF the worst national disappointment in my lifetime ala Bill Clinton

That man was the biggest LYING DOUCHEBAG ever to hold a national public office

And stem cell research is alive and well and being funded just fine thank you by the private sector. (you know, the place where people actually WORK for a living rather than bitching about why THEIR special interest group aint getting the money they want)

In fact MOST researchers dont want gov money as the strings attached are a joke and hamper creative thinking

get your facts straight before running your liberal mouth

Tom Daschle democrat has gone on record saying that Bush's proposal does not go far enough. Daschle says the US should take in all aliens and make them eligable for both social security and medicare.
