Before Monday trading, US Warburg's Nikos Theodosopoulos upgraded CSCO to buy from hold. This is a bold move by Nikos, as he appears to be the first institutional ranked analyst to have upgraded CSCO recently.

Pre Market trading in CSCO currently at 18.85 after his upgrade.

Remember that Paul Sagawa of Sanford C. Bernstein had said CSCO would go much lower on June 15, 2001 when CSCO was testing recent lows in the 16.50 area. He mentioned then that CSCO might have to warn again or missed earnings. To be fair, the Morgan Stanley analyst, Chris Stix also had the same negative comments on CSCO. If you had taken the advice from Paul and Chris, you would have missed a 14% gain.

Let's see who's right going forward.
