It's time for AMD to bring out PR rating.

Intel intends to kill P3 ASAP in hope to use P4's Ghz advantage againsit AMD.

Otellili stated that 1.5 GHZ P4 will be entry system price point.

AMD should bring out PR to close the perceived ghz delta between Athlon and P4.

Andreas,

Otellini calls VIA P4 chipset "rumor chipset", hasn't seen silicon yet.

Via seems to be in the middle of a slump. Their Athlon DDR chipset sucks, they are losing ground across the board in Socket A chipsets, and now they are about to lose more share in Intel market, while their CPUs are not making any inroads.

I would like to see their market share of Socket A CPUs. It will go from virtually 100% to less than 50% this quarter IMO, with no competitive chips in sight. They still have some KX133(A) business, but as OEMs switch to DDR, Via is just one of many competitors, one of the weakest ones based on the reviews of their chipset.
