NV, Got to love your continuing Optimism!

Re: INTC - Revenue for the second quarter down 24% from last year. EPS down 93% from last year and 57% sequentially. Projected revenue for the third quarter down 22-29% from last year with slightly lower margins. Then, of course, there is that little tidbit of coming investment write-offs. While they fought to have the Street include the investment gains last year, I'm sure they will be identified as non-recurring now that they are losses.

IMHO its hard to value a company having these kinds of decreases in both revenue and EPS. Until we get to the first quarter of 2002, there is little or no possibility of favorable earnings comparisons. The bad news is that we still have to get through the next two quarters. The good news is that we will.

I have no position in INTC and neither do I want one; however, again, I do enjoy your optimistic view of life. Let's see if we get upgrades or downgrades in the morning.
