Kastel, when it comes to Yorkton Securities, I'm usually left speechless. I subscribe to their "Inside Edge," it's an analyst report briefing that's updated daily. It's a hell of a read, if you can read between the lines. :)

They report on Bio-Tech, Tech and the Oilpatch companies and everything is a strong buy... I bought on a couple of their tips, Avid Ex. and Trigas Ex. both companies ended up being taken over at twice what I paid, which is why I continue to pay the $17 per month subscription fee.

Regards
Frank P.

Ouch in Japan. Down hard to 4 month low.

biz.yahoo.com

Taiwan nailed even harder and at a new 2 yr low!

finance.yahoo.com^TWII&d=c&t=2y&l=on&z=b&q=l

And the red ink continues to stretch across most of the rest of the Asian as well as European markets.

Not surprisingly our pre-opening numbers are just plain UGLY.

Hey rails! Elvis tellin' me to ditch readin' the tape today and take him for a walk. What your Brit say to that?<G>

what do they mean

i think most of the e&p and osx companies have been more fiscally conservative "this time" than in the last down turn. so i think most of the oil patch companies will be in less dire straits than "last time." the only company i wonder much about would be rig with all that old flc debt to service. if things don't pick up for rig over time, that old debt will really be a millstone.
