(1) Wrong. It's not libelous. It's protected free speech.

(2) Agnew was a crook.

(3) I could turn in 20 or more posters of your ilk by punching in a few keywords and doing 12 minutes worth of work. For instance, in post 3673 on the Impeach thread, JLA called Clinton a "probable rapist."

Evidence is this: there was no real energy supply shortage.
That is obvious now considering the glut we have now.
Bush lied on campaign trail saying he'd use his power in energy business to fix the problem. Instead it got worse. And he encouraged higher prices and gouging. He and Cheney lied to us telling us there were shortages. Even now he's saying California has brown-outs. We've had zero since Jeffords switched the the threat of investrigation was there. Bush cronies Enron and Duke refuse to hand over their records. They know what will happen if we can prove the truth. Energy lobbyists are offering settlements to quiet this thing. Murkowski of Alaska (Bush-Cheney energy crony) was quoted as complaining "prices aren't high enough yet".

Carter got his October Surprise from Reagan (as published, secretly dealing with Iranians not to release hostages until after election and now we have to wonder about the energy crisis in the 70's too).

Bush-Cheney used their October surprise which was a sudden "grave shortage" of energy right in the middle of the campaign to bring down the economy and exaggerate the problem. Once Bush took power the "shortages" immediately peaked. And they were gloating about it not trying to do something about it.

As soon as Jeffords switched, gouging suddenly decreased and gee whiz there is a glut of supply. Don't tell me this is the free market working. And pull your head out of the sand. The Bush-Cheney ticket is government for Big Energy by Big Energy and they used the most potent weapon they had against US consumers, Gore, California and the world, gouging and trying to scare us all into letting them rape our environment. They are now caught with their pants down but I want to see them spanked hard for it. They are crooked, selfish and greedy. They could care less about people, only their cronies profits (which they themselves pocket as well and will even more once they leave office - soon we hope).
