Sentiment seems pretty bad going forward. I have bailed from almost all my long positions for the reasons you cited...no reason to ride 'em down. Seems a retest of the lows is a real possibility now. Greenspan seems to have really put the icing on the cake today. Are you thinking of shorting anything tonight? I bet foreign markets sell off big tonight, creating additional downside momentum for tomorrow.

Long picks ?

It appears from following your trading pattern that you use your long positions primarily as a hedge against your short picks. Also, you seem to pick much better short trades than longs.

If the above assumptions are true why don't you just use something like the QQQ's as your long pick/ hedge and take some of the risk out of the longs ?
