I largely agree with you on oil (and N. American gas). I think there is probably enough spare oil capacity (5mb/d?)
to handle a modest pick up in demand. Oil has been flat because OPEC has been supporting the price.

Wait for their cuts to take effect. 3-6 months is not long enough for the full effect of rate cuts to be apparent.

I'm glad you agree with me that there are plenty of attractive US dollar denominated investments. ;-) This should help to attract foreign money and support the dollar, as I've been saying.

I don't think you can. Doesn't the government own it all, like in other Communist countries. What would happen to the investment if US / China relations go sour?
