lsh, based on the A&E story I saw on the whole story. There was a tremendous outrage. But Kopechne family refused to allow an autopsy as requested by the state of Ma and with no autopsy the bogus mr. ted story could not be challenged. She was not a passenger, she was driving alone to get away from cops. Mr. ted got out and she drove off alone.
