Oh yah 64.40 and 61 are critical suports, I expect Q to close within a 1/2 point of 65 if it holds 64 then buy with a 63 or 60 stop depending if you are a trader or want to take a position. Teusday CC could create havoc one way or the other, but I doubt it the news has been so positive, short of an Earnings upgrade there is litlle I think that will ignite Qcom outside of an overall market move. IMHO

MM:. As one of the timers who has not been wrong lately (? :-) you make a great observation. The fact that the news has been pretty ugly and the markets are looking past it is telling. If the Q puts in good numbers (with the help of the selling of LWIN shares or from the Tooth Fairy - I dont really care) we could finally have the bottom in the market. Not that further bad profit reports are not to come, but that the market is simply tired of hearing about them and refuses to be pulled lower.

It would be nice to have Qualcomm lead the market higher.

Now, which way is the good ship MM blowing today? Stay or cash out? How about a call for the top? (if this turns out to be the bottom)

*edit: Seems you posted to my question even before I posted it. Maybe you really can see the future!
