Antamina just went into production, and if the reserve grades and projected mining rate are any indication it should be good for about 20 million ounces per year of silver byproduct for the next 10 years. Hecla has almost become an insignificant silver producer.

I'm sticking to my "silver into surplus" projection. A recession will cut demand even more than production, so a further drop (below $4) might happen before the eventual boom.

I hated PGMs coming into 2001, just wished I had shorted them. Palladium is down almost 50%
