By "common knowledge", you mean all the conservative publications Actually, at the time, I was getting a great deal of my information from Larry King's radio show (conservative thought it was), where he nightly interviewed some really good military people. This need not turn into a debate, as it is well-settled information. If you're so keen on making it into one, why don't you list for me all those military powers which were, at the time, more powerful than Iraq? I think that should be quite easy to do, and certainly should clarify it for you. I don't know why I waste time with you, you're so damned ill-informed...
