mm- How many stocks have maintained a value at around 30% of the 2000 highs as Q has? Any negativity and you take a 30% to 40% haircut. That is the problem. It is sort of like a black hole and waitning to go in. You know its coming. All the techs are going to get sucked in and out the other side with lower P/Es. Sooner or later this market is going to get every one of them.

Well of course its not the market it is the reduction in business.

A year from now is going to be interesting if there is indeed still no business recovery. Mr Bush will have emulated if not surpassed his father in presiding over an economic shambles. He may not be away from Texas very long. I'm not sure he is a greater mind than Dan Quale but he seems a really nice genuine kind of guy.

Best regards,

L

What is worrying me is TXN's earning report out Monday afternoon. If that shows weakness, especially in the wireless sector, QC is not going to trade up to the 70's. I suspect that we will trade between 67 and 61 until Thursday's earnings report.

I believe the trading range is going to be 50 to 70 for the next few months.
