Glenn, in all fairness to Amazon.com something is missing here.
The La Times reporter reports
<Yet through all of this, the red ink continued to flow. At the end of last year, the retailer's working capital--basically, its cash minus its short-term debts, and a good indicator of a retailer's health--was $386 million. At the end of the first quarter this year, it was $251 million.>
Yet, Amzn says they'll have $1 billion in cash left by the end of this year. What am I missing other than they might have included their investments in that 1 $billion dollar cash number??
I believe NXCD, and DSCM is the only investment they have left standing.
