Dan: DRDRAM is only 1.03 MB/sec per channel - one of the reasons why P4 needs expensive dual channel motherboards and isn't selling well.

Motherboard manufacturers have recently squeezed a dual-channel DRDRAM motherboard down to 4 layers, making it only marginally more expensive (if even that) than a single-channel DDR solution.

Re: "You have to admit it's a bit weird that they had to issue that statement. Why not just ship the parts instead? "

Pentium 4 is selling quite well - why do you think Mad Man Sanders goes off half-cocked in a juvenile tirade trying to trash talk the Pentium 4 in front of professional money managers and analysts?

The Pentium 4 is selling so well it is giving Mad Man Sanders verbal sh!t fits.
