Did you have a nice time, and how was your picnic? How many miles did you hike?

They always say it is cooler in the mountains, but it would have to be a lot cooler than here to hike any distance.

Hey, I went into the mountains today too. Altho I was feeling REALLY crummy today & couldn't hike much. Very pretty though. Pecos river coming down from the Pecos Wilderness, up at the top campers had their horse trailers & there was even a corral set up by the parks dept. About 10,000 feet so hardly any 02 up there. Butterflies hummingbirds wildflowers aspens & pines, and silence and big blue skies & big white clouds
