Re: "You sit around taking payments from both management, and unions."

Wrong again ... as usual ... Mr. Right to Work, or in your case, Mr. Right to Do No Work.

I receive no compensation for serving on my union local executive committee. None. The thanks of the single mom with two kids struggling to find a piece of the American dream is payment enough for me. Your problem is you are too ingrained in the mentality that one always has to receive something of monetary value for services rendered. Many of us who punch a time clock think differently. I guess the so-called management work ethic is different from the work ethic of the mom or dad who works two jobs to make ends meet.

I also should add I never have billed the union for anything. Not once. Ever. The only "freebie" I have ever received from the union is a hamburger/Coke/fries a few times, when the bargaining committee broke for lunch during wrestlemania sessions with management.

I also should point out that the more I put on my union expense card (which in fact doesn't exist; I don't have one) means less money for ultra-liberal Democratic congressional candidates in 2002. Ha ha ha.

P.S. When you start slammin' unions like you do on SI, do any of your ex-union old-fart pals down there in Tampa or wherever you live give you a knuckle sandwich? Or do you just get mouthy with me?
