If the story is true that Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit because they valued human learning as higher than God's Word, then you might not even be on planet Earth today, working as a gold miner, praising the Lord.... Although I have numerous theological arguments at my disposal since I studied philosophy in Grad school with a Priest and a Minister too, who BTW, were philosophical scholars in their own right, ultimately, I respect and uphold the principles of freedom of religion. The Christian Faith and your interpretation is ultimately based on the Human Desire for an Eternal Happiness. I don't disrespect that desire so you will not get me to criticize it publicly. I'm not interested in undermining people's religious faiths. What I am interested in is presenting alternatives, in particular, the Humanistic position. What a person chooses to believe in, is their choice, not mine. I support a person's right to become a Christian. We could carry on this discussion via PM; but I would need permission from you to do so. I would also need to know that your faith is so strong that no human could undermine it.
