P4 is the Athlon's main competition. Why are you talking about Coppermine?

because coppermine (core) is still > 75% of Intel's production? Because P4 is 2X Athlon die?

You seem to have been completely brainwashed by the spin meisters from Intel, that you don't even want to talk about or listen about a product that still constitutes 75% of Intel's processor production!

BTW, notice how nearly your whole post is about Intel? It's as if talking about Intel will erase AMD's problems...

Notice how INTEL is AMD's #1 and direct (and usually only relevant) competition to >95% of AMD's revenue's? What and when Intel does is directly relevant to AMD- so talking about Intel when discussion AMD is quite important.

Care to answer the following Q?: If tomorrow INTC announces that the P4 core has a fatal flaw that will require a total recall and will take a complete ground up redesing, what will happen to AMD's stock price? Hmm, I wonder why? AMD's not involved in that at all. Seems that the market also wants to intertwine the two.

I'm sorry- you seem to have lost quite a lot of money on AMD. If you are "over" the stock and out of it, how come you are still hanging out here? (not that you cannot or should not, but just wondering)

Unfortunately, AMD seems to agree with you, but the facts say otherwise. AMD's big problem is breaking into the corporate market, which is close to 100% Coppermine. Targeting P4 to break into the corporate market is a fool's errand.
