Yes, science has cured diseases. But that does not mean it gets to be Doctor Mengele. Ethical limitations to research are legitimate topics of discussion......

Well an analysis of Jewish Kosher laws in the Ancient times may have well prevented many diseases. Abstinence would have saved far more lives over time than going for it.

They say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I suspect every HIV infected person would agree with that. Don't married folks live longer and I believe that sharing a common religion creates more stable marriages.

I'd observe that your statement "Science has cured diseases not religion" is very short sited in the bigger picture of life.
