VIX (Volatiltiy Index) Rising...
***********************************
The VIX is starting to creep up again...
bigcharts.com

If it breaks the 28 to 30 area we could see an acceleration of equities to the downside... This might also accompany the long awaited signal of a bottom...

JIM:

The NAZ looks like it will hold the 2,000 level for today, tomorrow like the weather, there may be some change.<g>The nearest resistance is 2,050 and as we commented previously there is some support at 1,940

The DOW is making an effort to close back above the 10,500. Will see if it can make it.<g>(Its major immediate resistance seems now at 10,550 and support at 10,330)

The DOW has been on a side-way holding pattern since March and the NAZ with a slight downward slope since April.

It seems neither one has defined its "line of least resistance" as yet, and it seems prudent to wait for a better picture at this point.<g>
