"Amazon way down. Are they still losing money?"

Yes, but it beat expectations, with a loss of 16 cents, vs an expected loss of 22 cents. Pro forma, needless to say. Bezos said on CNBC that they're working very hard toward profitability. I'll bet they are -- in the accounting department. AOL came through with a $100 million investment in the firm. AMZN is down after hours because revenue was down: $667 million vs. $677 expected. I didn't buy enough TA books, I suppose.

I was long today (though not in AMZN), as you know, and had lower-than-expected pro forma losses. If you don't include trading losses, I broke even. Not bad!

Interesting story on MSFT: Talks toward a possible settlement later this week. Your targets get lower with every post. The 64 area I could see, but now you're mentioning 55 and 40. Perhaps we can agree on $15 a share by next week.

As for getting mooned by the market, that would be a new moon bounce. The market has tended to go down with full moons, oddly enough. I don't trade without an astrolabe.
