Let's not forget that the VERY BEGINNING of THE END of the tech "bubble" was Clinton's justice department nuking Microsoft. Who know's if the bubble would have continued or for how long and how far. But a case CAN be made that things might have cooled at a slower pace had MSFT not gotten nuked.

In the '70's, it was the Arabs who were going to own us.
In the '80's, it was the Japanese.

MSFT, for all their faults, is the single largest engine that made America the greatest economic power in the world. You don't kill the goose that laid the golden egg. I strongly believe that this, perhaps, was the single biggest, baddest legacy of Clinton.
