If this "They" includes me then say "you" it can be singular or plural. yes TW ----->you & "they" are grandstanding. Is it your opinion that anyone complaining about a death has no credibility if they did not complain about previous deaths? absolutely... Also why I understand your feeling that the Vietnam war was a bad or even evil thing can you understand that it was done with the thought of protecting a country and its people you understand nothing... .the Vietnam War could have been ended in 1954 after the Geneva accords ... and Vietnam would have been united under Ho Chi Minh by----> democratic election. The US , and good God-fearing folk (maybe like like you ),, who were seeing communists under every table , prevented those elections ....elections that were agreed upon before. The joke was on us ...and it was an ugly one. And much uglier for the Vietnamese.... Obviously fighting an agressive power is going to result in death but I haven't seen something in this thread from you that would indicate that you are a total pacifist. The first statement is pure genious ...as for Pacifism what has that to do with fighting ignorance & resisting stupidity ...no matter how pious it may be ? regards Mars
