If memory serves, either warren or brk bought 100 shares just to get the quarterly reports of MSFT, then gates did a special issue of preferred for warren, it is like a three percent bond or something like that convertible into 170 million shares (dollars?), but it is still really like a bond which he may still hold in BRK, so the statement that warren owns no MSFT is pretty much correct.
