WinXP is a huge gamble/opportunity for whole tech world. it is the system that could launch the P4 into everyday use. one certainly does not need a 1000 P4 to do a word file. MSFT is looking at the whole new world of internet technology. broadband has been waiting for that "killer ap" - and gee, mebbe they will need a high speed delivery system. anyone know of one? larry
