I went the other way. I work out at a gym three times a week with a trainer.

Cutting meals would be a mistake for me. I do not eat enough as it is, evidently. Each to his/her own, I suppose.

EDIT

That is to say, I'm supposed to eat more. Believe me, that's not easy for me. I'm rarely hungry.

Jorjio,

I know you think I don't pay much attention to you as of late...but....heheeeee......I reads it all.......

so here is Dr. Frankenshooties revelation on acid reflux:

1. Drinking with meals dilutes the HCL in the stomach and stops digestion. The little acid that is there then churns like mad trying to break down the foods. The foods will not enter the large intestines in too large a particle so the foods stay in the stomach creating the bloat and acid reflux due to the gasses.

2. Some folks use pepsid, alka seltzer, tums..etc to stop this churning and burning. THis is the wrong approach as these items actually stop the digestive process and nutrients can not be assimilated in that form.

3. If you are either drinking too much liquid with meals or if you are lacking in natural HCL, the cure is to go to GNC or any other health food store and get some HCL tablets and how is this for a run on sentence, anyhow?

As we age.....grrrrrrrrr....HCL is reduced in the digestive process and supplementing is the smart thing to do. We must have adequate HCL or we will literally starve our cells due to malnutrition.

So, try this. And if you find that after taking the HCL you still have problems, get your patootie to a specialist and find out what is wrong.

$5 says it's either too much liquid with meals or a decline in your HCL levels.

Idiopathically yours,

Shootie
