Get some facts, then use the "LOL" line, Mr. Short on Brains.

Gore won more than 90 percent of the African-American vote on Nov. 8 and about 70 percent of the Hispanic vote nationwide. The only Hispanic bloc that voted for D-Dubya-I was the Cubans in Miami. So take them out of the equation, and take out the Hispanics in Texas who voted for GWB because he was a native son, and about 3 out of 4 or probably 4 out of 5 Hispanics voted for Gore on Nov. 8.

And GWB thinks that some kind of amnesty plan will persuade these people to vote GOP in '04. The only way that's going to happen is if the Republicans endorse a liveable minimum wage and endorse the Democrats' plan to rebuild America's school systems.

And that ain't going to happen.

So my advice to GWB on the Mexican amnesty plan is: Go for it. The Democratic state organizations of every state from Florida to California will thank you heartily.

CDC Knew About Condoms' Limitations, Doctors Say

A group of doctors Tuesday claimed that the federal government, specifically the Centers for Disease Control, has for at least a year suppressed a study about the effectiveness of condoms and endangered thousands of American lives in the process.

The doctors claim that the government has known about the limitations of condoms in preventing sexually transmitted diseases but nevertheless mounted a campaign that deliberately misrepresented the risks in sex education curricula and public health programs.

Quite a ethical respect for human life.
