Either way, whether stir-fried or steamed, grilled, or boiled, we are in trouble:0( <<typhoon ... analogy>> my intention as well. BTW, our HK typhoon did absolutely nothing yesterday, giving everyone a nice day off from everything (no public transport, no mail, no shopping, no theatre; just nothing). <<tsunami ... water all rushes away from the shore ... fish flopping ... ocean floor ... run, don't walk, to higher ground ... ship at sea ... tsunami passes underneath without being noticed>> My pals and I still play a tag game while at beaches with fierce surf. We run toward the receding wave on the beach, walk further into the ocean than we should as the next two to three incoming waves are smaller and held back by the backwash of the outgoing big wave. We stand for a moment on dry land, waiting to see the very large wave that eventually come towards us (2-3 small waves later), crouch down and take in the splendor of waves that are much taller than we coming towards us, and then, on signal from pals, run toward land as fast as we can. Once I was grabbed by an undertoll, and as I was fairly exhausted already, I felt I have finally met my big kahuna. It was, surprisingly, a pretty peaceful feeling. The same feeling I had once while on Singapore Airlines, when we the passengers thought we were going down (stewardess hit the ceiling due to weightless physics). <<world ... process ... hit by a tsunami ... question ... get hit ... tall wave that smashes ... or ... pass under ... without being noticed>> So, now, I am about as ready as I can, to face something much bigger than I, however reluctantly, and I suspect we all will have a chance to notice it. <<Help Wanted section ... 453 "software developer/programmer" ... DC Metro region ... fish aren't flopping yet>> How many are in the Washington Seattle area? Chugs, Jay
