I can speak to the fact that all my friends who went to school with me have never divorced and all have been married for many decades. Many I know now who went to schools with no prayer are divorced. I believe I have heard of studies that married folks live longer. I'd suggest that their children grow up a little happier and are more likely to have children. So those who live in families that pray privately and see an affirmation of prayer publicly are more likely to procreate and thus not become extinct.

Those whose mind sees prayer as something to be forced to listen to are more likely to become extinct. They reflect the mindset of adults who don't understand the unifying power of prayer. The stress reducing power of prayer.

"So what data can you provide that shows that public prayer has any value for those doing the praying or the people forced to listen"

Not commenting on whether prayer in public should be allowed, but do believe your assertion above is false. Allowing prayer in public does not mean they pray out loud, which you seem to believe by saying that "people (are) forced to listen". At least if you are referring to allowing prayers in school. Please clarify what you mean or correct me if I am wrong.
