Maybe Merrill Lynch is trying to get TSIX on the cheap.
I think 360 has a lot of dark fiber that isn't going to be lit.

Q for me is, will JDSU be in a position to benefit when demand for those parts picks up, or will somebody eclipse them in the meanwhile with cheaper, faster stuff? Remember all the DOJ antitrust issues during their mergers, such a short time ago? Seems like a different company/industry now, doesn't it? Staying long JDSU, since it seems way too late to sell at this point (although Furukawa doesn't seem to think so).
