Newt and Mitchell did, and Hyde I believe, still represents the 6 district. However, Hydes and Mitchells affairs happened quite awhile ago, and even Newts I believe was 5 - 10 yrs. ago. And each of the affairs appear to have been solitary deals, whereas Bill and Gary engaged in multiple affairs. The difference is that when the reps strayed, they strayed for love; Bill and Gary do it just for lust. Just ask any woman which type of guy they would prefer. While it isn't easy, the dems need to clean house, or risk losing the womans vote. And without the womans vote, even Bill would have lost big time. In addition, none of the reps lied about their affairs to the police, or hindered a police investigation. Paula Jone was an assault on an innocent woman, both when the trooper bought her up to the room, and later when the dems trashed her. Bill and his cohorts also trashed Lewinski, until they found out she still was in love with Bill. Now Gary's press secretary started thrashing Chandra. Don't you guys ever stop trying to demean the victim. Name me one rep. that you listed, where the rep. blamed or demeaned the woman? It's not the affair that is the problem; it is how you are reacting to it. There is/was no shortage. There was an aura of a shortage created by both Cheney and Bush to push their agenda and payback big oil, at our expense. <<<<<<<<< Interesting. Are you trying to say that when Al and Bill emptied the reserve, there actually was no shortage, just a ruse by Gw and Cheney, and Al and Bill were too stupid to recognize it. Aren't we lucky that an idiot like that wasn't elected. No wonder Al went into hiding; eating like a pig.
