While I am not an expert on Leonard Read, it does seem that US labor unions are dying.

Bush turning America into an armed camp..........Gun Policy Faces Major Bush Revamp

By ERIC LICHTBLAU, Times Staff Writer

WASHINGTON -- With surprising speed, the Bush administration is moving to reshape national gun policy in far-reaching ways that some opponents say could undo years of increasingly restrictive laws governing the sale of firearms.

In any event, I'm not going to pore over this 10-year-old diatribe you posted promoting the so-called "right-to-work."

Since you can't argue against the merit of the article you attack the author. The fact of the matter is that many a worker is held back from promotion due to "seniority". How about the sandbagging losers who's jobs you defend because afterall, they're (dues paying)"brothers"? Don't they prevent someone else more deserving from getting that job?

One of the biggest myths-frauds going is that the Republicans want "less government."

The very biggest myth-fraud-lie is that Unions are "for the little guy".
The answer to the question, "Do union leaders retain their salaries while the members they represent are unpaid on picketlines?", is revealing.
