I don't think we'll need that for an increase in spending on the internet. I saw a report that concluded these glut claims are false and we're running out of bandwidth now. Also notice... consumer spending is still good...but IT spending is very bad?.... well.....where do they get the money for IT spending...ultimately it is the consumer... so lack of spending must be mostly fear....

I think storage is going to be an issue. I was talking to someone recently about my ftp program, and he said he had had problems with it. I told him that I transfer 3 meg files all the time; he said he was trying to transfer 500 meg files. I asked him what they were and he told me they were movies. Now, if people start transfering movies, they need bandwidth and a place to put them. All of a sudden my new 60 gig hard drive seems small. {wimper}
