It's coming, but, as usual, AMD will be a leader in implementing mass production of the latest technology.

And, as usual, Intel will be the last to major semi chip company to incorporate new technology.

We've seen it in copper FAB technology, we've seen it in DDR memory technology, we've seen it in interconnect technolgy (where the NGIO specification will be ready about the same time as HyperTransport chips enter volume production).

It's Intel's habit of trailing AMD in all areas by about 18 months that has led to AMD going from 5% to 23%-24% of the market since 1997 (is that better than saying "almost 25%?" - are you happy with the terminology now?).
