Seasonal chip purchases should begin any time now and hopefully we'll soon hear commentary that will provide some indication of how H2 will pan out. In addition, Intel's capex for next year is still in question. They clearly locked-in the remaining $2 billion for this year, but left the door open to reduce levels next year if H2 is weak. BTW, AMD and Intel are discussed in Barron's this weekend: marketwatch.com AdvocateDevil
