Interesting.... Are you aware of the Bush Admin proposal to add a single family feature to the successful low income housing tax credit program? LIHTC was enacted during the Reagan years. it is credited with bringing over 1,000,000 affordable units on line. Bush proposes to extend the program into the single family market targeted toward the upper end of the low income renters who just can't quite afford to buy a home. Its a very innovative idea and promises to be as successful as the LIHTC program has been. JLA
