Actually, one of the most successful programs for the needy, the LIHTC, (low income housing tax credit, Section 42 of the IRC) was sponsored by the Reagan Administration. The program is widely recognized as one of the most succcessful low cost housing initiatives ever devised. It is credited with bringing over 1,000,000 low cost housing apartment units on line since 1986 when it was legislated as part of the sweeping changes to the tax code proposed by the Reagan Administration. During the Clinton years no such innovative proposals were advanced. The Bush Administration has proposed to extend this very successful program into the development of single family homes. Contrast these initiatives with the failed demolib policies of government subsidized housing projects.

So, your statement that the Republicans are the party of the needy is very apt indeed. Programs and policy which work well to address the actual needs of low income individuals.

The Republican Party is the party of opportunity. Jobs are the greatest need of the needy. The Republican Party is the party of programs that create jobs.

All you can do is rant it seems and tell all how holy your are and how self righteous you are. The Gospel according to St Fallope. How sad.
