I've always thought that the best way to convince a teenaged girl to go out with decent respectable young men would be to give her a mother obsessed with actors, athletes, and rock stars.

I disagree with JLAa regarding the efficacy of the stigma of indecency, but wonder if other types of stigmas might not be effective. Certainly the stigma of "uncool" works with kids. Stupid might work with a lot of them. Do you think that stigma is a good tool to pull out of the toolkit in this case?
