Yousef, AMD has made some critical mistakes on their .13um process development. This is probably why they are late. AMD badly need .13um technology to compete in the notebook market.

What mistakes? I thought they just got started later than Intel. Not trying to be a straight man here, honestly didn't know.

Really? Why? Notebooks using AMD's .18 chips have the same performance and same battery life as notebooks using Intel's .13 process. What will Intel do when AMD releases its SOI .13 chips 6 months from now?
