See you keep missing the point and its distorting your perceptions. You still refuse to believe there can be another side to the issues.

Just a few comments here.

Now we have a glut even though Cheney swore to us refineries could not possibly handle more capacity Vice President Cheney was talking about the US refineries which were running @ 96% capacity. With the world economic slowdown we now have Saudi refineries shipping gasoline to the US. The Saudi's did not do this last year due to strength in Europe and Far East. This is a fact so I assume you'll rant on a different area.

Just as Williams and El Paso cut the natural gas supply to California It was El Paso that had to lay off 1/3 of the staff the the CEO took no pay for 3 years when ng was in the $2 range. The supply was cut when they closed unprofitable drilling operations. Now that prices have increased you'll notice the market is producing more gas and the price is back down.

There was no shortage last summer other than those in charge of supply turning off the taps We'll see my point above but we and California have just had an expensive warning shot across the bow and if we don't start preparing for the next crisis when the world economy gets back on track then we'll be behind the 8 ball again. This is not a Democratic / Republican issue. Full Cell technology or what ever tech advance is still years away to alleviate the coming crisis. We will have another crisis if AG is able to re inflate the economy.

Who fears Grey Davis? Outside of CA no one knows about him. We only know about Condit lately. Lets see if Davis can prove mettle. So far all I know is he's blaming the Republicans for the energy crisis with de regulation but he voted for it. Lets see if he's able to sway the CA populace that it wasn't his administrations fault for not locking in low energy prices.

Now the 1st few items are facts and the last is just my opinion. You keep giving opinions as if they are facts. Granted politicians do this all the time assuming the listeners are ignorant of the issues or there isn't enough time to refute their opinions.
