Needless to say, letter #33, where Jacobs basically claims to be just as "in the dark" as everyone else, didn't satisfy very many people. Doubly so those who remember letter #8, where Jacobs claimed to have personally inspected the very records that the auditors now claim to be unable to locate.

And so it goes.

The moral of the story, as written by Hammerin' Herb:

Never trust a company that pulls out all stops to fight and "expose" short-sellers and reporters who raise critical questions.

Never trust a company that attacks the integrity and credibility of its critics rather than dealing with the issues at hand.

Double that if the company in question blames translation from another language to English as the reason that numbers in a contract don't appear to add up.

Triple that if your source of information is anonymous postings on investment message boards.

Quadruple that if one of the company's biggest investors uses his own Web site to hype the stock.

Fellow AremisSoft Shareholders [er STUCKHOLDERS]

As you can imagine, I have been deluged with calls and e-mails asking for my input on the halt of trading of
AremisSoft shares. Unfortunately, I have no more information than the rest of you and will be able to respond
only when we hear from the Company on its proceedings and the reason for the halt in trading. I am trying to be
as patient as possible, and will respond in full once we get a definitive release from the Company. I’m sure this
is a difficult time for everyone and you can be assured that I will respond as soon as I hear anything.
