Hi Fred, {OFF TOPIC}

I have a long time investment in a small cap stock called KVHI.

They are the leader in RV and boat DBS satellite stabilized antennae.These antennae track a satellite as the vehicle moves.

They have announced a new product(which will be introduced in this quarter) - (their 3rd Q ), which is designed for automotive application.Suv's at first.

It will be less than 3 inches tall(including installation fixtures). It is designed to fit below a luggage rack on top of a SUV. It's breakthru technology freatures "live phase array" technology.

This will enable DBS satellite "on the fly" - so we can watch/hear CNBC on vacation and receive internet e-mail( SI)
while on a trip.

This world just keeps on getting better.About the only way a person can have a vacation is to travel with Brian to some unheard of get away.hehehe

I don't know about most people, but I have been waiting for telematics to catch up with the internet for a long time.I can see it impacting luxury vehicles initially.I can also see it being popular in limo's and taxi services as well.

It will , be slow at first,but KVHI expects their second design to be less than an inch tall.How it works just baffles my imagination.Since it is a digital transmission - reception quality is excellent, and it tracks the satellite as you drive down the road.

If its implementation catches on in a similar rate as ONSTAR - it could represent several million subscribers over several years.I can't see that evolving as fast since price is much more: you need an antennae and a screen. Most fold down from the headliner.Current pricing would suggest the combination would cost around $4500.

Remember where you heard it first.ggg
