Hi Berney, I just can underline your swampview.

Some possibly/hopefully supplementing observations:

qqq - while I fell in fear yesterday after close, today's picture is looking to me not anymore that bullish.
So far it hasn't touched neither the 50 DMA nor the 100 DMA. Guess I keep short at least as long as I see these lines overhead - eventually my target was ~38 at mid September (please don't laugh! - I just can't get out of it !-)). Whatsoever, Paul - bullish index-futures don't make me happy in this situation? But you, you champ, you're out again the right time!?!?!?
Who cares - I grant every success to you.

csco, nok, sunw etc - no clue why just these companies get bought - each of them warned that the worst is not over yet. Nokia made very clear that a turnaround before mid 2002 is not to expect. Any ideas from U guys? BTW: matching to this picture energy-stocks fall while energy-prices surge. Mondo perverso?

msft - ``I work & I sleep & I dance & I'm dead / I'm eatin, I'm laughin & I'm lovin myself / I never watch TV except when I'm stoned / like humans do.'' Is that the cause for yesterdays late & strong "institutional buying"?

ge - the whole market is playing party but ge was not invited. Why? Does some of you know anything? What about technic? I did find nothing but the weekly support - but that has come quite near in the meantime. :o)

All together I cannot bet where the market will move to - but I did bet, my mistake. Now I'm waiting with tears in my eyes, biting on a stick tasting the blood. The name-spender of this thread used to mention: we need more pain. This in memorial of Bob, aka named IT - the one and only Intel Trader :)

Successful trading to all - doesn't matter if bull or bear!
