Actually, I hope that Cruella Harris is elected to Congress. (Newspaper columnist from St. Pete Times on CNN tonight said the district is heavily Republican, and the seat is hers if she wants it.) Having Harris serve in Congress would help the Democratic cause more than the Republican cause. She would be a constant reminder ... an icon of moral corruption walking the hallowed halls of Congress ... and inspire good Democrats everywhere to work harder in '02 and '04 and beyond. I'd vote for her for that reason alone.
