While I'm happy to see the market up, I think there's something fishy about those employment numbers... With all those layoffs you'd expect a rise in the unemployment rate... And as you said, factory orders dropped... Somehow these two statistics don't compute when also taking into account the Chicago PMI and NAPM decines...

On the bullish side the Dow is now above the 10,500 trendline... On the bearish side the Nasdaq was repelled by the 2100 area... These's still too much uncertainty hanging over this market... The cut in rates by the Bank of England was a good thing if they want to stay ahead of the economic curve...
