Agency.Com Selects VideoPropulsion VDOHub To Move Video
Throughout Facility

Interactive Media Pioneer Eliminates Need to Retrofit
Building with High-Cost Coaxial Cable

SLINGER, Wis., - September 6, 2001 - VideoPropulsion, Inc.
("VPI") (OTC BB: "VDOP"), announced today that AGENCY.COM
has chosen VDOPro(TM) Media hubs to serve as the video
distribution solution over an existing fiber infrastructure,
eliminating the need to purchase and install new coaxial cable
throughout their facility. The VPI VDOHub is a new, standalone
device that is used to convert, split, or extend DVB-ASI links.
VDOHubs, which can be connected in series in order to form
arbitrarily long links, also have the ability to convert
DVB-ASI copper signals to optical or optical to copper - one
of the features that attracted Agency.Com to this solution.
"Through the implementation of VideoPropulsion's VDOHub,
Agency.Com avoided the very high cost of laying coaxial cable
throughout our building" said Joe Jaffe Project Manager, iTV
Agency.Com North America.

In addition to allowing Agency.Com to leverage existing fiber
resources they can now transmit video to their demonstration
facility 38 floors away from their development area through
the utilization of existing low loss fiber optic cabling.
"Video is now available anywhere in the facility where there
are existing fiber jacks, so there is no need to install
additional cables or outlets" added Jaffe. Agency deployed a
VDOHub at the broadcast server, converting the copper output
from VPI's DVB-ASI transmit card so that it could be directly
connected to the existing fiber optics already installed in
their facility. Utilizing VDOHubs at any location with an
optical jack in the facility allows them to convert back to
copper for connection to decoders, modulators or other VPI
receive cards. VDOHubs are also available in rack mount
packages with one or two hubs per 1U enclosure.

Low cost card enables self contained Headend

SLINGER, Wisconsin; September 7, 2001 -- VideoPropulsion, Inc. (VPI) (OTC
BB: VDOP) announced today that it will begin shipping a full featured Quadrature
Amplitude Modulator (QAM) contained entirely on a single short PCI card next
quarter. The new product mounted in a small UNIX or NT server will allow
developers to directly drive a Set Top Box (STB) and offer customers the
opportunity to create a "Headend in a Box".

Through its high performance 64 bit, 66MHz PCI interface, the VDOQAM(TM)
QMP-1064 collects and multiplexes MPEG-2 transport streams directly from host
memory. The resulting multiple program stream is modulated and transmitted
on a 6 MHz carrier at 44 MHz IF via a standard 75 Ohm BNC connector. The
QMP-1064 supports 4,16,32,64,128, 256, 512 and 1024 QAM with variable
symbol rates up to 10 Msymbols/second.

Device driver support is available under Linux, Sun Solaris, Windows NT/2000,
and SGI IRIX. The driver APIs are compatible with the VPI's popular VDOPro(TM)
DVB-ASI multiplexing interfaces and VPiTV software libraries allowing users to
interchange DVB or QAM network interfaces without changing their applications.

The QMP-1064 has been designed to work with the companion, desktop or rackmount
VDOPro RF CATV Upconverter or equivalent. The QMP/RF combination accepts one
44MHz IF signal and provides RF output on any channel between 54 and 550MHz or
550MHz and 860MHz offering direct connection to digital STBs.

VDOQAM products will offer an inexpensive way to transmit in the clear for
development, demonstration, and deployment of a variety of iTV applications in
'walled garden' digital television environments. The addition of the QAM capability
to VPI's VDOPro line will be the first of several new interconnects intended to
broaden the choices available to iTV solution providers. VideoPropulsion remains
dedicated to creating open system, open standard tools and platforms for building
digital television applications.
