Hm....must not have been a real critical number after all. If it were then the bulls and bears would have all spent bullets wrestling over it. After all, for volume, you have to have both buyers and sellers.

Interesting to see every one of your listed channelling stocks up today, with the exception of REFR, on a negative technical day.

Zeev, dont you think the unemployment numbers tomorrow will make or break this rally-- if the consensus of 4.6% is beaten then dont you think we could over a few days breach 2150-- what is is puzzling if the rally is real is the bland put call numbers and the vix and vxn which have not come to the top of their bollinger channel; this suggests to me that these contrary indicators may have lost their predictive power due to the prolonged tight trading range in recent months; and a break up ; atleast a bear rally till valuations once again become an issue, can easily occur with no negative consensus in place.
