That LAM (or the SOXX for that matter) has increased well beyond 25% will only make me sad for "missing the boat" if they do not retrace. Of course, if I continue to be proven wrong, I'll sing this tune for two years until the next cycle. :-)

That is a big reason why I never sell all. I only sold my intial investment in the stocks (AMAT and LRCX) after I got an 8 bagger in the stocks I owned... that means sell 12.5% of a holding after an 8x run. I missed the top this way, but got money out at good levels to try to buy some shares back at a lower price. Trying to buy back lower and then sell again when higher is much harder than it sounds. I've made money, but nothing compared to buying AMAT back in '96 or LRCX in the fall of '98 when they were far too low. Dec at $14 was probably another opportunity... not to be seen again.
