What's the choice? Continue to cow down to OPEC and ask everyone to cut back on consumption? Maybe some pie in the sky alternative energy source?

Sad to say but it's looks lke the choice is clear. Or would you rather see more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico or off California?

Technically you are correct ... One dissenting Alaskan makes this
a divided issue. However, do you think this is 50/50 divided.
I think a "vote" by Alaskans on this could solve this problem.
I bet you wouldn't support that ... would you, TheJerk ? Something
about imposing the Federal governments will on Alaska appeals
to you, right ? I mean, this 2000 acres is just so "pristine"
and important to the future of the US, right ??
